Executive Team
Javier Morales, President & CEO
As Founder and President of Associates in Business, Javier Morales has spent his 20+ year career developing relationships and learning the ins and outs of marketing. His outside-the-box strategies have been instrumental for many of his career achievements.
Javier has spent the last several years developing Associates in Business as a company that can create opportunities for all industries. He is currently representing Travelscream in the Caribbean; he has also been the Director of Marketing and Product Development for Air Jamaica Vacations. Prior to his employment with Travelscream and Air Jamaica Vacations, Morales held a variety of positions at hospitality-focused companies including Senior Account Executive for Travel Industry Sales at Marriott’s Doral Golf Resort and Spa, Senior Account Executive for E-Commerce at Marriott Offshore Resorts, Product Manager for the Caribbean and Bermuda at Certified Vacations, Inc., Director of Promotions and Latin American Sales for Palm Beach Casino Line, International Market Manager for Latin America at the Palm Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Sales Manager for the Florida Marlins Baseball Club, Travelodge Hotel Main Gate East and Dolphin and Majesty Cruise Lines
Javier’s passion for networking introduced him to the world of social media. Since then, he has been providing innovative marketing opportunities for businesses with effective results.
Javier Morales lives in Weston, Fl with his wife Maria, two teenagers Javier and Anthony and their family pet Ziggy.
Alex Tomos, Vice President & COO
Alex Tomos is a proven leader with a strong background in Marketing and Sales. He currently heads the production and operations for the team at Associates in Business. His role is to take the ideas and goals of their clients and turn them into result oriented action plans. His years of sales and marketing experience provide the background needed to fully understands various cultures, business trends, and consumer expectations of clientele seeking the professional and reliable services required to promote and expand business in highly competitive industries.
Previously with the Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Alex Tomos was an outstanding sales leader that helped the company grow sales in his region/department with over 23% YOY growth for the last three years. The professionalism and aptitude to generate organization profitability are the two overwhelming qualifications Alex Tomos brought to the Einstein Noah Restaurant Group and now delivers to the clients of Associates In Business.
A true Floridian, Alex Tomos was born and raised in Miami, FL. He attended Christopher Columbus HS and Florida International University where he studied economics. He has since established a beautiful family including his wife and two sons.

Alex Rodriguez, Social Buzz Manager
As Social Buzz Manager, Alexander contributes to the development of client Social Media Marketing Strategies. Responsible for creating the voice of your social platform, his approach is unique and his job is to identify your fans and engage with them on a personal level as well as a corporate level, creating a One on One feeling with your fans! At the same time implementing client specific Social Media Strategy and developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and platform engagement. In addition, Alexander is crucial in the research and development of new platforms and application.
Margaret Pickard, Designer/ Programmer
Margaret brings the concepts and ideas of Associates in Business to life.
John Poropat, President and CEO of Poropat, LLC and a volunteer business Counselor with Broward SCORE (Service Corporation of Retired Executives)
John is a multi-talented financial executive with a unique mix of financial, entrepreneurial, and operational management expertise. He provides Entrepreneur Business Coaching and CEO Advisory Services to individuals, the individual entrepreneur, and the small business owner.
As a Trusted CEO Advisor and Entrepreneur Business Coach, he works as a team, side by side, with individual entrepreneurs, their Accountants, and other key decision makers to help improve bottom line results and enhance the financial performance of their company. His unique approach provides a practical, transparent, and realistic financial solution, which helps to minimize taxes and maximizes operating results, while helping the individual entrepreneur to achieve and realize their dreams of business ownership and financial independence.

Steve Bennett, Public Relations, SBPR Corp.
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish), bald by choice, and forever boasting of his twin sons Austin and Jacob, Steve has 12 years of PR/marketing experience.
Past clients include Ferretti Groupe USA, Delta Vacations, Air Jamaica and the Gov’t of Puerto Rico. He began his career after earning BA degrees in English and Economics from Bucknell University. A skilled writer, Steve’s articles have appeared in Coastal Boating and ValueRich. Steve resides in Fort Lauderdale, though his heart remains in his home island of St. Croix.
